Mark McGonagle and Aaron Hallquist from BPDA will join us on a Zoom call to talk about the RFP process and to answer questions from SBANP members.

Join our summer social and an opportunity to say Thank YOU to Kay Walsh for her decades of dedicated service and outstanding contributions to the South Boston community!
Sherry Dong and Jerrett Jones from Tufts Medical Center’s Community Benefits and Community Health Initiatives Program will be joining our meeting to discuss the work Tufts MC has completed this past year and their current initiatives. Bob Monahan will also be joining to share updates on the important work of MA Action for Justice – and "The Busing Battleground", a PBS American Experience, scheduled to air on Sept 11th – as this relates to our Courageous Conversations work.
The Mayor’s Office will begin a Community Listening Tour Series. The Community Listening Tour is an opportunity for community members to share their opinions and ideas on the City’s violence prevention, intervention, and recovery efforts that will be in place this summer, all while we build community connections among leaders, residents, and city agencies alike.

South Boston will be a stop on the Listening Tour: May 17th, 6 - 8pm, at the Condon School.
Joining us at 10am will be Carl Nagy- Koechlin, Director of Just a Start. Just a Start is a partner on The Seaport Circle project and Carl would like to join our SBANP meeting to discuss their job training program and learn how we may be able to work together. Just a Start’s mission is "to promote equity by creating access to stable housing and building pathways to economic opportunity."
